Enjoying Summer Yet
Hello and what a wet morning we are having, thought i would pop on and share a photo with, you from this time last year, walking to nursery this morning reminded me of being in the back garden and the sun was so hot that me and Holly had the pool out and umbrellas all over the garden for shade, (my back garden is a bit of a suntrap) and we had a mock Glastonbury, you will notice, most of the festivals have been cancelled this year due to some areas having a flood warning. But we shouldn't let that stop us from having some fun still.
In between the rain and sun we did get some playtime though, but for today she gets to play indoors with her friends come on Summer get a move on.
Thanks for stopping by x

Gerbera challenge 114
I absolutely adore this stamp from wood ware, I made this card for my sisters 7th wedding anniversary, I loved it so much that I went and ordered the rose and lily singles from the same collection, a really nice big bloom with lovely big petals to colour in. I coloured it in using pastel pink, sun kissed, and putty pro-markers to blend the petals, the background uses mica pigment paint to give a paler image with the same stamp.
I am entering this card in to http://ilovepromarkers.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/challenge-114-flower-power-floral-image.html
Good luck to all the other entries, there is some really gorgeous cards.

Back on track
I have had a chance to have a really good browse round everyone's blogs today and update my self on the crafty scene, and i must say i am astounded by the quality, and beautiful cards and paper projects i have found, i hope i find everyone in good health and are enjoying our typically British weather four seasons in one day, so i thought i would take the opportunity to preview what i have been up to, although the final show for the art and design course is only weeks away and i should be working on my final essay(2000 words) and my final projects, i miss my paper crafts and all the new goodies that are being released this month.
The stamp is boho chic by simply sassy which is available at Funky kits, coloured with my promarkers satin ivory and vanilla for the skin tone, and pear and olive green for the trousers and pastel pink and cerise for her top, i have not really looked for any challenges that this fits in to as i have so much more cards to show and hope these will fit in to a catergory, hope you like it.
