Time for tea
This tea set was a tutorial on stampin up you tube channel and is featured in the annual catalogue 12/13 and i love it, simple to put together, I have done this in pool party, using pool party and midnight muse for the label, it contains stirrers and peppermint tea bags and would be ideal for giving to someone who definately deserves a cup of tea for the hard work they do, so i think these will be my teacher gives for end of term this year. Hope you like them, thanks for stopping by.

Summer Inspiration
I'm getting lots from being outdoors, in the garden and reflecting on what summer is all about. This time of year is all about getting together with family and having some fun in the outdoors, plan a barbeque, or go away for the day and take the kids out to do some thing interesting and fun, or even let some one else do that, and hang out in the back garden, worship the sun and drink long cool ice teas. No doubt even when you do plan for a quiet afternoon you have family coming anyway wanting to share your piece of sunshine, but what ever you do let it reflect in your crafting, i have found that it makes me want to clear out the old stuff and get new stuff and organize my space, which is basically what i have been doing.
This year as you know i signed up as a demonstrator with Stampinup and in previous years as an avid fan have collected so much, well as much as i didn't want to part with my beloved stamps have seen so much in this years annual catalogue, i don't think ill miss them. I'm so excited for you to see the new catty, you wont be disappointed at all, i have a wish list as long as my arm.
So i have been creating a few projects to wet my palate for when the new goodies arrive
I cased this from another Uk demonstrator on youtube pootlespapercraft, she is awesome, and her projects are great, so i thought i would showcase some of the new in colours from left Calyso coral, Island indigo, Wisteria wonder,Pool party and Lucky limeade, i love these colours so much its a shame that they are going but i have fallen for the new 2012-14 in colours,
So watch this space you guys will keep you posetd till the new catalogue comes out,

Demo day at Sheffield
Here I am with, Toni, lovely lass who works at Subliminal print, with my niece Leona and Danny revolver, great place for studio time and recording people were in and out all day and took advantage of having their free portrait done, by the loverly pete, and also some free dj tuition for the kids, further down at the Harlands was some strawberry planting and finger painting for the kids and, some great sew and stitch workshops going on. There were bands and dj's playing music right through the evening up till nine o clock.
I would like to thank everyone at Subliminal Studios for making me feel so welcome and to the dj for some great vibes and for keeping me on my feet dancing.
Hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as i enjoyed writing it
take care and talk soon

A new beginning for craft
2013 see’s me making a lot of bold decisions in taking my craft forward, seeing my confidence grow with my artwork and, enjoying the time with my family now that i am a grandmother of a beautiful baby boy, Joseph Morgan.
I have done a complete 180 degree, and now my Holly is growing up and becoming a beautiful little girl, she has inspired me to do all the things I ever dreamed of doing. I have recently signed up as a demo for Stampin’ up, if you haven't heard of them they are an international craft company bringing to you the finest craft items ever and I am a massive fan and have been for a number of years, I have took the plunge and will be motivating other people to try out this fantastic hobby with me and my Stampin’ up colleagues.
So as a rule, I will be posting at least one craft, and one Fine art post a day, or every other day, i don't want to burn out now do I, and I hope you can enjoy this fantastic journey with me.
This is a ceramic jug, that has gone in for glazing it is a coiled jug, and its purpose is to be filled with celebratory scrumpy cider, believe you me it is bigger that the picture does it justice, I have given it a very authentic dark brown glaze to finish and it has pear cross sections engraved down the back and the handle, its shape has been designed so that it can be poured without having to lift(bonus if you have had too many) as it is quite heavy.
So here’s to all you devoted crafters out there, and to all you budding artists, I salute you.
thanks for stopping by Cheers x

How have you guys been
Happy new year, i know we are already in to February but time has no significance in my life a the moment unless it means handing work in on time. I have got quite a bit to share with you, i want to make this a quick post. This is something i made for my Sister Ann and she loves it it is an I pad bean bag and as far as i know there is none on the market, and it works a treat, Ann did try to upload a photo but it wouldn't work for her but i will get her to do a review of the bean bag
She absolutely adored it and uses it all the time, and i loved making it for her. You will find this pattern in craft seller magazine but the had just the one layer, what i have done is made the bean bag and then made a separate washable quilted cover for it. Thought i would take it one step further, the ones that my sister had found online were static and the i-pad just sat in front in a slot without being able to position it in a comfortable position and were priced between £25-£30, you could make one of these bean bags for less than a tenner.
And with left overs you could make a mini one for you smart phone or i-pod.
thanks for stopping by see you later. X
