Well I have never done this before, I was halfway through this card when I decided to change my image to fit the theme at Make it colourful, the theme is colouring hair not normal hair colours, I thought this was great as it gets you thinking how you are going to make the hair colour fit in with the colour theme of the card.
I used a blend of Pro-markers and Prismas, and chose purple for my hair colour, but I think it has more of a look like a purple rinse, like what older ladies have, its made my Anya look older than her years. I think next time I should choose funky bright colours so she does not have that rinsed look.
And here is a close up,
I started out with Saffron pro-marker then went over with Lilac, and then Amethyst, and then I deepened the curls with violet blue prisma pencil, I also came across another blog called Just some Lines they also do some excellent digi’s you should go over and have a look, they are currently running a challenge and the theme is Easel cards, so I would like my Sideways easel to be entered for this challenge also, my die cut blank is custom die cut by Which craft Doncaster, I shall give you a top side view as the extra panel comes in a pack with envelopes as well.
Well I hope you like it thanks for stopping by, see you soon
Oh this is really pretty and I love her face!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Just Some Lines Saturday challenge :)
gorgeous card sharon.i love the miss anya and her hair looks really fab and funky :D
ReplyDeletethanks so much for all your lovely comments on my blog too :D
regarding the digi images, i give mine a quick blast with the heatgun before colouring but they do smudge really easy, i try my best to stay in the lines and if i do smudge the ink i tend to try and cover it with a darker promarker colours, hth :D
xx coops xx
Pretty card, and I think the hair colour is a great choice and doesnt look like an old lady purple rinse at all. Thanks for joining in with the Make It Colourful challenge. CoB
